Wan Zawawi Md Zin

Wan Zawawi Md Zin brings nearly 30 years of diverse experience in the software industry, holding roles from Analyst Programmer to Senior Director. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, majoring in Software Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

He began his career in telecommunications, specializing in billing systems. He then joined Motorola Malaysia’s Global Software Group as Test Manager, establishing the Testing Lab and contributing to the CMMI Level 5 accreditation in 2005. In 2007, he joined MIMOS, where he founded the Centre of Excellence for Measurement and Testing, launched the WIMAX Test Conformance Labs in 2009, and led the Big Data Analytics Lab in 2015.

With a unique combination of technical and leadership skills, Wan Zawawi has led several high-impact projects as Project Director for Ministry of Health and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission. Now, as Deputy CEO/COO of MTSSB, he oversees seamless operations, drives peak performance, and ensures operational excellence across the organization.
